Out of curiosity, I observed the Payiferen nightfall. After the sun has disappeared, the sky is dark but the surface is very light. The stars in the sky are tiny in comparison to one huge star, visible from the lower left window in the Payiferen pod. From other observations I do know that later during the night the surface will get darker so the star is moving, although I did not observe movement during this time in the pod.
My original goal was to see the glowing rocks that I once observed here. That was before I had determined at what times the portals open in the Pod Age. Unfortunately, I have been unable to witness the rocks glow ever since. It may be that it only happens during a short period of the Payiferen night. It can also be that other factors play a role in this. However, the fact that Payiferen rocks were used in the D'ni New Year's lightshow, proves that my memory is correct about the glowing of the Payiferen rocks.
The four pictures below show the glowing of the Payiferen rocks as discussed in the previous paragraph. It is in a mixology-Age comprised of Payiferen and Negilahn. I was playing around with the firemarbles until I noticed the Payiferen rocks. These Payiferen rocks are crafted specifically for the purpose of being able to glow like shown in the pictures below. But why? And when do these rocks glow naturally in the Payiferen Age? These are questions I still need to find the answers for.
Another thing that motivated me to observe the Payiferen night, is the fact that the Pod Age is associated with a Relto page that gives your Relto two moons. I was hoping to find any clue that would explain why the Relto page for the Pod Age has two moons. So far, I have been unable to find anything in the Pod Age that could explain this. However, knowing that the Pod Age was never finished, I cannot dismiss the possibility that the clues regarding the two moons never made it in the Pod Age. This is also what keeps me from pursuing this particular quest.
The Payiferen sunrise doesn't look entirely natural with the orange color in it. But other than that, nothing seems out of the ordinary...
