The linking books for the Garden Ages are found in the (Bevin) Neighborhoods. Some neighborhoods have 'Eder Delin' and others have 'Eder Tsogal'. These Garden Ages have a door with a spiral symbol on it and seven cloths. Pressing one of the cloths will show a symbol on the door. Each cloth will show a different symbol on the door but they will always show the same symbol. At least in that specific Garden Age. In another 'Eder Delin' or 'Eder Tsogal' from another neighborhood, the symbol for each cloth will be different.
So, each cloth represents a symbol on the door. The symbols can be translated into numbers from one to seven. Now, when you press the symbol on the door, it will show the 7 symbols in a random sequence. This sequence is repeated a few times until the door resets to its initial state. The symbols are actually the code/combination needed to open the door.
The goal is to open the door by pressing the symbols/cloths in the correct order. Each time you press the door, the sequence will be different. It will show you the 7 symbols in the correct order once, and then the symbol on the door starts rotating. That will take 60 seconds, then it resets unless the cloths have been pressed in the correct order. If the cloths have been pressed in the correct order, the door will open. Entering the cave will allow you to collect a new bahro ring, one half for each Garden Age.
A Door Run is a game aimed at opening the door in one of the Garden Ages. As there are 7 cloths, you need 7 people to cover all cloths and 1 person at the door. It is possible to do it with less than 8 people but that depends on the experience of each person.
One person stands at the door to get the code/sequence and to say when each cloth needs to be pressed. This person is called the caller. The caller decides on what needs to be done during a run.
For the people at the cloths it comes down to remembering the number you have for your cloth and pressing your cloth the moment the caller calls your number.
The first thing the caller has to do is determining what number each person at a cloth has. The caller asks each person to press his or her cloth. The caller will then type the number for that cloth in chat. Usually, the person at the cloth responds by also typing this number in chat to confirm the number to the caller. The caller repeats this for every other person at a cloth until all 7 numbers/cloths are done.
The next step is to make sure everyone at a cloth still knows their assigned number. When the caller says "Roll Call", everyone at a cloth types his number one more time in chat. If all 7 numbers appear in chat, the game can begin.
Now, the caller presses the door and it will show the 7 symbols in a random order. The caller types the sequence in chat on a single line, like this: 5 4 1 7 6 3 2. That way, the people at the cloths will know when it is their turn. As the sequence you typed in chat will scroll off screen at some point, you may want to write down the sequence as well.
Next, the caller types the first number in chat. The moment the person at the cloth presses his or her cloth, one of seven doorlights will light up. The door also makes a certain sound each time a doorlight is lit up. Then the caller types the next number in chat and waits until the next doorlight is lit. Repeat this for all seven numbers until all doorlights are lit.
When all above steps are done correctly, the door will open. For how long it remains open depends on the time it took to press all seven cloths. The more time it takes to press the cloths, the shorter the door will remain open. Those who want to collect the Bahro ring for the Garden Ages, will have to run for the door before it closes.
Being a caller is probably the most difficult task in Moula gameplay. The caller needs to remember the symbols on the door and their corresponding number very well. The caller will have to work without getting distracted by whatever goes on in the Age. It's easy to lose track of what number is next. Following is a checklist of points to remember during a doorrun.
The caller types out the full sequence (step 3). The person at a cloth that has the first number, presses his or her cloth, then types his/her number in chat. The next person who sees the number in chat that comes before his/her number then presses his/her cloth and also types the number in chat. Repeat this for the other numbers until the door opens.
