Overview

The Spiral Door Simulator is a 3 in 1 - tool for learning the Door Symbols in the Garden Ages 'Eder Delin' and 'Eder Tsogal'. It has 3 functions:

  1.  Viewing and learning the symbols and their corresponding number
  2.  A Trainer to test one's knowledge/memory of the symbols and their corresponding number
  3.  A Simulator to practice the actions of a caller during a door-run

The four buttons on top of the page are used to select which function to perform. (Viewer, Trainer, Simulator and this Help document.)

The red dots in the top-left and top-right allow you to switch between skins.

Viewer

The Viewer shows the Door Symbols and their corresponding number as a slideshow. You can select an interval between 2 and 20 seconds. You can also select if the symbols should be shown in a fixed order (1-7) or random order.

After you touch the image of the door the slideshow starts running.

Trainer

The Trainer allows you to test your memory of the symbols. Like with the Viewer, you can select an interval between 2 and 20 seconds. The trainer will always show the symbols in random order. The bar in between the interval selector and the door image is a time-left indicator. Here, the interval is the amount of time you have to select which number was shown on the door.

After you touch the image of the door the symbols are shown, one by one, and you have to select the corresponding number for each of the symbols. Use the 7 numbered buttons below the door image, or use your keyboard to enter these numbers.

Simulator

The Simulator allows you to do a doorrun exactly like it is done in Moula. You are the caller at the door and your computer plays the team at the cloths. They already know what number they have so you can skip the roll-call. The time they need to respond depends on the "experience" of your team:

  1.  Amateurs: it takes between 3 to 9 seconds to press a cloth
  2.  Experienced: it takes between 2 to 6 seconds to press a cloth
  3.  Veterans: it takes between 1 to 3 seconds to press a cloth

After you touch the image of the door, it will show the 7 symbols in random order with a 2 seconds interval. Use your keyboard to enter the numbers 1-7 in a single line in the order that was shown on the door. Spaces are allowed. When the sequence is complete, press [Enter]. You should see the sequence appear in the history field above the input field. The time-left indicator starts moving and you have 60 seconds to complete the next steps.

Now, type the sequence again but this time you type each number one-by-one. Immediately after pressing [Enter], type the next number but wait with pressing [Enter] until you see the doorlight for the previous number appear. Then press [Enter] and start typing the next number. Repeat this for the other numbers until all 7 doorlights are lit.
